This project was a mini project that was a short dive in to the fourth amendment about our rights. I worked with another student Josh Jacques for the video part of the project. We tied to be educational while remaining funny for the video.

Project reflection:
This project proved to be fun to do. Through the project, the whole video and editing prosses was a lot of fun. I also much enjoyed being behind the camera instead of acting. My partner and I wanted to also make it funny to engage the audiance more. This is the reason for it being "over the top" and my friend being the "bad kid" in every situation. I enjoyed the diversity in students and teachers as well in the video segments.
If I had to do it over again, I would hope for more time to put into the editing and planning parts of the process. The edits in the video are choppy and not of great quality. I would have made them smoother as well as try to add more humor into it.
Writing goals:
Goal one: I need to work on the logical flow of my writing. I tend to ramble on for a long time trying to make a point or fill space. I plan on trying to get to the point faster without losing context or support of the point.
Goal two: I need to work on supporting my writing more with evidence and text as well as supporting it properly.
Goal Three: I need to work on my creative writing skills. I need to be more imaginative and descriptive with some of my writing. I tend to just say it how it is a lot of the time and not spice it up with good descriptive words to generate a better visual.
Mock senate:
This project was a model senate where we all took on the role of a United States Senator and went through the whole procedure of what a US Senate would do.

John McCain

My name is John McCain, I am here to discuss the bill, Defense Spending Redistribution Act. I would not vote for this bill due to its reckless cutting of defense spending. There is a rising threat to us between ISIS and Russia, and tensions are continuing to rise. We cannot ignore these signs and cut down the size and power of the military. We must remain prepared for the current threat overseas and growing potential with Russia.
We cannot and must not cut our useful and advancing parts of our military. If we must cut spending, there are many old programs and old equipment that is no longer in use and these unused programs keep getting funding. In section three of The Defense Spending Redistribution Bill, it proposes that we remove 40,000 U.S. troops from Europe. We cannot reduce our number of troops overseas due to the rising threats from terrorist groups and the rising tensions and potential cold war between America and Russia. Along with the current war on terrorism.
Section five of the bill shall be eliminated from the bill with the exemption of sub-section A. We don’t need to spend unnecessary equipment and programs. We can cut down on programs that don’t need to be used anymore. We need to keep in contact with the military generals and with the military program managers and see what programs and equipment are being used and which ones are not or not as much. We can cut the ones not being used. We need to be careful with it though and not cut any programs that are working towards technological advancements in our military. Those programs are part of what makes our military so great. They are part of why we have the strongest military in the world. We cannot cut down on what is being used or the advancements that may be used. We cannot ignore the rising threats and tensions from overseas. It would be greatly foolish of us to recklessly cut our military. Especially with potential war on the horizon and with our current war on terrorism. We must protect our American soil and our citizens who do not deserve to have to be thrown into a war time situation on American soil that will come about with reckless cutting of our military. Do not vote for this bill. Protect America and the families and children that will be risked by allowing for defense cuts.
